WHAT IF
With all the entertainment, news shows, books and
talk about UFO'S. An Amateur Radio operator would expect to be versed
in operating procedure if one is confronted with an extraterrestrial
event. It would not be difficult to place yourself in any of the
current movie or tv show scenarios as an Amateur Radio operator.
Given
the forces at work even in the simple sighting that have been reported
even at a distance would probably disable electronic and other
equipment.... So what do you do? Well think about it. Think about the
movies and tv and the reality that if there is "A Conspiracy,"
Government most probably has not totally informed itself and or cannot
agree about how to even deal with information like that. More or less
at the state or local level.
I think of it like a tornado
drill. If something falls out of the sky, get out of the way. And do
not get run over by crews rushing to deal with it, emergency or
otherwise. So there you sit, the Amateur Radio operator at the set,
radio floating in the air sideways. The lights and power blinking. and
new bunch of little green elmers looking your shack over... And if you
key that radio with any info on the sky , the road, or the room you
are in it is going to make alot of interests very mad, with some one
giving out information and details about the other.
Oh well,
probably the instamatic camera still works for posterity's sake. Don't
forget it is definitely going to be hectic at the store. |
